MindBody Empowered

Feel Better. Live Better.

I help growth-minded, and career-driven women who are done pretending they’re fine -break free from anxiety or panic attacks, self-doubt, imposter-syndrome, perfectionism,or procrastination so they can feel relaxed, focused, and confident -far beyond what affirmations, meditation or talk-therapy alone can achieve- by retraining the mind, reshaping behaviors, and getting their head, heart, and actions working together toward what they truly want through my Root & Rise approach.

Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be; embrace who you are.
— Brené Brown

I help growth-minded, career-driven women who are done pretending they’re fine. My clients are often self-aware individuals who’ve done some inner work, analyzed and gained insights, but still feel stuck.

From the outside, you look high-functioning. On the inside, maybe you feel like an imposter—hitting emotional walls, powering through. You overthink, spin in perfectionism, procrastinate, then scramble to meet expectations—still second-guessing yourself. Sleep doesn’t restore you. Downtime isn’t relaxing. Your nervous system has forgotten what calm and relaxed feels like.

I’ve been there.

Hi, I’m Elisabeth

I’m a trauma-informed mind-body integration and retraining specialist.
Think of me as your secret advantage -as you step into the next empowered chapter of your life!

From my own journey and transformation, MindBody Empowered was founded.

It’s my passion to guide women out of survival mode—and into a life where they truly thrive. Through my signature Root & Rise approach, I can help you move beyond stress, self-doubt, and looping thoughts into clarity, confidence, and real calm.

Imagine meeting deadlines with ease, walking into big moments steady and assured, sleeping deeply, and waking rested—finally free from the mental noise that keeps you stuck. Imagine reclaiming your focus, trusting your inner compass, and creating a career, relationships, and life that feel aligned, confident, and authentic.

Thriving isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being balanced, grounded, and fully yourself -with a deep inner knowing you are more than enough.

Are you ready to level up?

Even in murky waters, you’re meant to rise. Your healing begins beneath the surface.

Empowering Change

For a New Way of Living

You’re not here because you haven’t tried.. You’ve read the books, maybe done therapy or coaching. Yet, the tightness in your chest, stomach tension, the tension headaches, the creeping sense of panic in certain situations, shortness of breath, self doubt or imposter-syndrome, spinning thoughts, the looping behaviors such as perfectionism, futile micro-managing, procrastination, people-pleasing and the feeling of “unworthiness”, “not enough” -are keeping you stuck.

I believe when we shift the inner narrative,
like throwing a pebble in a pond,
we can ripple change across every aspect of our life.

Sometimes logic, reasoning and willpower just isn’t enough. You’re stuck:

  • People pleasing: having difficulty asking for what you need -saying no without feeling selfish and justifying

  • Stepping up for others, carrying disproportionate load -not getting your needs met

  • Difficulty speaking your truth, without self doubt, shame or guilt

  • Carry fear about: being judged, victim role, ridiculed, poor decisions, being needy, never breaking the cycle, wasting life, not going for your dream

  • Carry shame about: not being “better” by now, missed opportunities, poor decisions, not leveling-up

  • Carry guilt about: looking fine, “I’m fine- I should be happy” -but on the inside feeling messy, inconsistent, out of alignment with who you want to be and what you want to create

  • Looping: guilt, shame, remorse cycle, thoughts going in circles

  • Feeling nervous, on-edge, jittery or experiencing tremors -that specialists can’t explain

  • Egg shells-vigilant: reading a room, behaviors, maybe misinterpreting

  • Triggered: reactive -snapping, irritable, overreactions or switching to autopilot and going through the motions

  • Somatic symptoms: shortness of breath, muscle pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, chronic headaches, digestive issues -that screenings, repeated specialist or chiropractic visits haven’t resolved

  • Feeling unexplainable ache in your chest or stomach tension

  • Heart palpitations or shortness of breath, yet, tests show’s nothing abnormal

  • Anxiety: Feeling it building the closer you get to an important presentation that you’re stressing about, feels like your losing control

  • Panic attacks: Suddenly feeling shortness of breath and breaking out in a sweat, fear of having a panic attack, sure you’re having heart attack

  • Self-talk: I know better - why can’t I do better? Am I crazy?  I’m fine, everything’s fine. Get over it!  Your inner voice screaming I’m trying!

  • Saying yes, when you inner voice is saying NO! -and feeling angry or resentful about relenting on your own boundaries, “caving”

  • Sleep issues: sleepless or restless nights, waking up -ruminating, overthinking, looping -waking up tired, frazzled and irritable

  • Exhausted: -brain fog and overwhelm -and just trying to power through, burning the proverbial candle at both ends and knowing it’s not sustainable

  • Self doubt or imposter-syndrome: feeling inadequate and second guessing yourself, running all the different scenario’s in your head -getting no where

  • Autopilot, just going through the motions -no joy, excitement, contentment, just doing what you have to get through the day

  • Chronic tension headaches -scans and tests unresolved

  • Inability to really breathe deeply and release tension and relax, even with down-time -still feeling wired because your body and mind are tuned to stress

  • Self isolating -lacking self trust, dreading unsolicited advice, pity, invasive questions, small talk that feels disingenuous -maybe the invitations you avoided have stopped                                             -making you feel more alone

  • Sweating: literally having to change your top before a meeting

  • Spinning, overthinking -and still feeling stuck, wasting mental energy replaying conversations, questioning decisions, or trying to predict outcomes... yet nothing actually changes

  • Self soothing: Ice cream, chocolate, hard training, mindless scrolling, shopping etc.

Any of these feel all too familiar?

My approach is not a replacement for medical advice or treatment. Though I often work as an adjunct to licensed professionals on a referral basis, and my approach can often help enhance or accelerate the positive effects of medical care. You should always seek medical advice from a licensed medical professional concerning medical issues.

You are not alone. And you don’t have to stay stuck.

Let face it, life is stressful, and full of inevitable ebb and flow challenges and difficulties. It’s out of our control. But it’s not about “fixing” you. You’re not broken.  I believe that when we shift the inner narrative, like throwing a pebble in a pond, we can ripple change across every aspect of our life.  My signature Root & Rise approach helps you gently let go of what’s been building up beneath the surface -maybe for years.

It isn’t about analyzing, dissecting or reliving the past. It’s about relief that finally feels real.  It’s about breaking the looping cycles and patterns -replacing them with an empowered mindset: proactive, constructive, relaxation and clarity, confidence in response to the inevitabilities of life -when your mind and body are totally synced- then we can talk affirmations!

What does feeling better and living better look like -on your terms?  Ready to level-up?

Kind Words

〰️

Kind Words 〰️

Since seeing Elisabeth, I now have effective means to considerably reduce my anxiety. She has given me many tools to work with strong emotions, which before were debilitating. Elisabeth is kind, competent, compassionate … has helped me to be able to create peace in my life.”  -Jessica Lynn, Encinitas, CA

“Elisabeth has such a calm and reassuring presence—it’s easy to feel comfortable and trust her. Working with her has helped me find a deeper sense of inner peace, set healthier boundaries, and communicate more clearly. I also have a much better understanding of my own patterns and emotions. Since starting with her, I feel more confident, more energized, and better equipped to handle everyday life. I warmly recommend her.”- Emilie Bjerke, Oslo, Norway.

“ Elisabeth helped me when I was dreading a planned surgical procedure, with projected pain levels as high as 9-10. She taught me relaxation - breathing techniques, and inner imagery to help me relax and stay focused on self-care and practicalities -before surgery, days in hospital, and during after-care period. It really helped me stay calm, master pain and cope much easier, and I had a shorter convalescence than expected. Elisabeth was calm and supportive. Her approach worked for me. The tools I learned -priceless.” -Tone Espås, Trondheim, Norway

Working With Me

Vulnerability is the core of shame and fear and our struggle for worthiness, but it appears that it’s also the birthplace of joy, of creativity, of belonging, of love..
— Brené Brown

Step 1: Discovery Call Just A Conversation

We’ll begin with a short discovery conversation (about 20 minutes, Zoom) to get clarity on what’s troubling you most. This is your space to share what you’ve been carrying—such as anxiety, panic, perfectionism, procrastination, or self-doubt. You don’t need to have the perfect words; we’ll untangle it together.

This first free call is also a chance to see if we’re a good fit. I work best with women who are ready to show up for themselves—curious, open, and willing to do the work needed for real change.

Are you ready?

Step 2: Strategy Call Your Tailored Proposal

In our second free zoom call, we talk strategy (90 minutes, Zoom). I’ll share my tailored proposal based on what you’ve shared. We’ll look at how to move you from feeling stuck and overwhelmed—to experiencing calm, focus, and confidence.

I’ll walk you through my signature Root & Rise approach and how I work in practice, and how I can help you create a strong foundation while freeing you to grow into your next chapter.

What are you waiting for?

Building Foundations Progress with purpose

First and subsequent appointments (90 minutes, Zoom): we dive in. Sessions are weekly, focused, strategic, and tailored to your evolving needs -we rise to meet what has come up, stirred and shifted since last time as you’re moving towards your goals.

Continuity is key. Like a solid foundation, each appointment builds upon the last, creating clarity, confidence, and strong, yet subtle momentum. I’ll meet you with skill and intention—your part is to stay present, honest, and willing to do the work.

Let’s do this!

Your Investment in Yourself

I don’t charge for hours on a calendar like a therapist will. You’re not investing in my time, but in my expertise—and in yourself. During our second call, I’ll recommend a realistic timeframe or number of weeks based on your needs, ambitions and goals. This way, you’ll have clarity and full transparency on what the process requires, and true ownership of your investment in yourself.

I also only work with women who are truly ready—open, curious, and committed to showing up for themselves. If that’s you, we can create something powerful together.

Ultimately, the decision is yours. If the answer is yes, then we roll. We’ll set the framework for your process in the weeks ahead that supports your growth and unlocks your inner resources and strength.

MindBody Empowered: Experiential Group Experiences

Come as you are.

Leave a little lighter!

These group sessions are grounded, welcoming, and designed to help pause, reset, and reconnect -within yourself and with others.

I offer these experiences, not as stage-show happenings, but as gentle, guided experiences that support emotional calm, and community wellness and care.
